This past weekend, I met a fellow touring cyclist. We got along well, and traded tips with each other. Unlike my weekend trip, he's attempting to cross the country, to see as much of it as he can.

He seems to have made a good start. He picked up a steel touring bike, and been through New York, Newtown, Philadelphia, and is now headed for Lancaster. He also started a blog to write about his adventures. Road and Blanket.
